Create sub-newsletters

  1. In the main newsletter creation page, you’ll see an area where you can add sub-newsletters.
  2. There are options for different school levels: ECE, Elementary, Middle School, High School, and Secondary School.
  3. These fields are not required, so you can choose which ones to include in your issue.
  1. To create an ECE Newsletter, click on the ”+ Create” symbol next to the ECE Newsletter field.
  2. A new window will open for the divisional newsletter.
  3. If you want the sub-newsletter to use the same title as the main newsletter, leave the “Divisional Newsletter Title” field blank.
  4. If you prefer a unique title for this sub-newsletter, fill in the field with your desired title.
  1. The content array in the sub-newsletter works the same way as in the main newsletter creation page.
  2. You can add various types of content items, such as:
    • Message Card
    • Quote with Quotation Marks
    • 2 Column Image Grid
    • Simple News
  1. After adding content items, you’ll need to choose one as the “Featured Content”.
  2. The featured content will appear on the main page as a link to this sub-newsletter.
  3. The image from the featured content will also be shown when you share the sub-newsletter link on social media.
  4. As of this recording, only “Simple News” and “2 Column Image Grid” content types can serve as featured content.
  5. More content types may be added as featured content options in the future.
  1. Once you’ve added your content and selected the featured content, click the “Publish” button.
  2. Your sub-newsletter will then be added to the main newsletter issue.

You can repeat this process for other sub-newsletters you’d like to add, following the same steps for each one.
