Publish Date

The publish date will be used as the URL (slug) for each newsletter. To select a date, click on the calendar icon and choose the desired date.

Good to know

The date you pick and the actual date you are going to publish and announce the newsletter doesn’t have to be the same.

Watch out!

If you change the date later, make sure to regenerate the slug, preview URL, and the production URL too to ensure consistency.

Danger

Never choose the same date for two different newsletters. Doing so will cause an error on multiple levels.

Newsletter title

This title will be shown at the top of this issue of the newsletter’s landing page.

Tip

If sub-newsletters don’t have a title of their own, this title will be used on top of those pages too.

Slug

To fill in the slug, click “Generate”. It will automatically grab the publish date from above and fill this field for you.

Watch out!

If you change the publish date, please make sure to click “Generate” again after doing so. Otherwise, things may not work as expected.

Production URL

This is the production URL for this issue’s main page. You can share this link to parents once you the issue is published.

How to preview before publishing

To preview an unpublished newsletter, append ?preview=true to the end of the production URL.

For example, if the production URL is https://www.niva.ac.th/news/2024-07-10

Your preview URL will be https://www.niva.ac.th/news/2024-07-10?preview=true

By doing so, you can preview changes as you work. It may take a few seconds for changes to be reflected.

Featured Image

The featured image will be shown when you publish or send links through social media. This will not show on the newsletter itself.
